I’ve eaten here twice on trips back home & both times were fantastic, friendly staff, tasty food, plenty to choose from & AWESOME coffee. Have recommended to friends and family & looking forward to calling in again some time

Ive eaten there and i also used to work there. The Weta provides excellent food and excellent service. Couldn’t ask for a better place to wine and dine.

Had my daughters 21st lunch at The Thirsty Weta today. Great place for family members to get together, we travelled from Tauranga, some from Te Awamutu, some from Otorohanga. Fantastic menu, lots of selection catered for young, teens and well older folks! Very relaxing and welcoming. Will make sure we visit again soon, great place to meet up for a drink, coffe, snack or meal. And also very reasonably priced. Julie
