They managed to squeeze 11 of us in, just, on a very busy and warm night. The staff were friendly, but took a 45 minutes before our order was taken. The general opinion of diners were that the dishes were very good and well portioned. Again, a delay in the meals being served probably due being so busy.

We all said that we would love to diner again, but not on such a busy night !

Great place to eat in Mission Bay. Always great service and great to see an Italian restaurant that still serves all the pasta dishes in entree size. Good selection of wines.Eaten here many times, never disappointed. Try the Gorgonzola, the best.Gelato great.

Better than the other Italian places in Mission Bay. Though only in the way that an itch is better than the clap. I don’t go often as the quality of the food is not consistent, occasionally you will get a good pizza then the next time you find a reason not to go back for a couple of years. Had a nice pizza last week, nice base good topping tasty flavors.

This is the worst place to eat in Mission Bay: we had two plates of pasta – quite boring (its pretty hard to cook bad pasta) with some bland dolmio-type sauce.

The marinara risotto was awful.

Worse is the service – slow and lazy wait staff and a proprietor that abuses customers under his breath when paying.

If you want a true authentic Italian meal Toninos is the place to go. Fantastic food,warm friendly atmosphere and great service. Try the veal scallopine(they use real milk fed veal). Pizzas are the best I have had in NZ.

As appealing as the miscarrying half-cast who entered her finger into the dish on table presentation and as foul as their hung-over faces when one pointed this out to them unashamedly.

A real shock horror!

Even if they had got the pasta to match the order the food was decidedly average.

The gelato though was excellent.

A very third world experience.
