This was the first time that we had dined at The Trading Post Venue in along time – Paul has done a fantastic job – his food is awesome – both quality and presentation is top class – service by his staff excellent and the venue homely. We were not rushed through our meal – nice for a change to relax and enjoy. We dine out on a semi regular basis in the local Bay of Plenty region and until now – have not found a restaurant that has compared to this at a price that is affordable and offering excellent quality. I had the Trading Post recommended to me on a couple of occasions but until now, had not made the effort. Well done to Paul and the team

This is a fantastic little restaturant tucked away in Paengaroa. Set in a lovely rustic old house in a country setting with an open fire. The ambience and staff are warm and inviting and the food is fantastic!. I had the stuffed mushrooms as a main and all I can say is WOW, the best I have ever had!. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and every one. Keep up the good work Trading Post. I will definitely be back.

Great meal nice surroundings and reasonably priced. It seems classy, comfortable and country – would recommend to anyone. After having a stressful day at the office (end of year books) and as it was my birthday treat to go there I immediately felt destressed and relaxed when we sat down to our meal. There was no blaring music to hype us up and we actually had a marvellous family conversation and we all felt relaxed in the surroundings. Although it may seem small in comparison to other restaurants it is more intimate and great for romantic get togethers as well. Go there and be impressed.

Fantasic service from Paul and his team. The food is FANTASTIC and the atmosphere great. We eat out several times a week and this place is our number 1. well worth the drive from Tauranga. Great for both for Lunch and Dinner.

Our extended family went here for a meal out over Christmas. Everyone was impressed with their food. Seriously good food, in a pretty little place, with sensible pricing and reasonable portions. Definitely one to visit in the Bay of Plenty.
