We decided to have early evening dinner here before going to a comedy show at Expressions on 31 March. I booked an early table (5.30pm) and when we got there the restaurant was fairly empty. By the time we left after 7pm, it was full to bursting! It’s clearly a popular restaurant.

I ordered a sweet and sour chicken dish and shared some rice with another of our party. I like sweet things but found the sauce to be very sweet. I enjoyed it all very much though.

The rest of our party enjoyed their meals too. We didn’t have room for desserts.

The staff were attentive without being overly fussy – always appreciated – and the decor was beautiful.

I think we’ll be back.

Last night 6 of us dined here to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. Service was fantastic, the waitress was friendly, funny and attentive. This is the first time our friends had dined at this restaurant, they loved everything about it. Every course was divine, beautifully presented and the portions were generous. The Angel Wings……..heavenly. And then as a lovely suprise a huge plate of icecream sunday with 6 spoons was delivered to us on the house. Thank you so much, we had it all, great company with dear friends, memorable food, fantastic service. We’ll be back as will our friends!!

Went to this restaurant a few weeks ago and OMG the food was delish. hubby and I are used to going to Thai restaurants and feeling hungry again within an hour of eating! Not so this place, pad Thai to die for, we had soup starters and entrees thinking we’d need them to ‘fill up’. Big mistake, the mains were extremely generous. Loved it and will definitely go again.

We love getting our takeaways from here. They are always ready to be picked up in about 15-20 minutes. The food is great, service is always friendly. We have also dined in on a number of times and it’s always been great.

We dine here frequently and always the service is fantastic and the food delicious. Would recommend booking beforehand as they are so popular! My favourite dish is the pad Thai. Will return next week!

Great service and very accommodating dealing with my food allergies. I wrote down what I could not eat and they took that into account when making my green curry which was especially tasty and cooked to perfection.

The food is great, weather it be lunch or dinner!

It was packed when we arrived which is always a good sign, especially when you keep seeing crowds coming into the restaurant and they are getting turned away due to full house.
Ordered but had to wait 1hr and 20mins before the food came, was it a worth while wait….hell yeah! the food was delicious, fresh, mouthwatering, delightfully presented and perfect. For good Thai, this is the place!

I was craving Thai food and didn’t want to drive into town so we tried this restaurant. The place is a bit small, but nicely decorated with Thai accoutrements.

We ordered pad thai with prawns and tom yum soup. The portions were huge and at first, the pad thai was very tasty but as it was quite a big plate, halfway through it, it got cold and noticeably very, very oily. I just didn’t like it anymore. I think they should advise customers that their portions are good for two.

My partner and I picked up takeways from this place and i ordered a mixed seafood salad and to my disgust it tasted awful and when i went back to ask for a refund the waitress tryed to tell me i had eaten half of it and would only refund half my meal cost i would not suggest anyone who likes traditional thai food the chefs are not even thai my partner is thai and was embarressed at the food we were served.

My wife and I love going to this restaurant. The food is absolutley wonderful, the restaurant is clean and the service is good. My favourite dish is the Angel Wings starter. Its probably time that the owner looked at getting a bigger place as the restaurant is nearly always full. A booking is recommended.

We have been on several occasions now, and had takeaway. Highly recommend the Traditional Thai. Be sure to book if going on a Fri/Sat night as they are extremely popular.

I have been there several times now and enjoy the food every time. Fast and friendly service.

Whenever I have visitors, I take them to Traditional Thai because 1) I know the food will be superb, 2)The price is reasonable and 3)I know the service will be reliable and the staff friendly. Recently, I took an Asian friend there who said he had never, in all his time in NZ, tasted such superb Thai food. For me, it’s important to know that when you go to a restaurant, you can be assured of good quality food.

Real authentic Thai food I eat there all the time.
