We bought a voucher to try out this restaurant and Oh My Word! Terrible, Yuk and all the nasty things you can imagine. We were served with stale steak, one that is on discount at the supermarket! when you cut the meat no juice runs out, chewing and yuk. white wine tasted like vinegar yuukkkk. we did not even bother to go for dessert. sooo apalling. We found Wendys better than their food. Horrible horrible experience. Dont even bother trying their food!

My friend went to the other side of the restaurant to tell him and see if he wanted to assist us and he grumbled and said he didn’t really want to, and also why couldn’t the waiter who was standing there with us help? He was actually pointing at me – a customer – ( I happened to have a black top on similar to waiters I guess). He finally came over and helped us pull the tables apart, all the while grumbling under his breath about it.
Our mains took well over an hour to be served and when they arrived they were extremely average – some meat, a bit of rice and some limp salad. During the time we were there it was difficult to get a waiter to come over and help us with anything including refilling waters.
The only thing I can say about the place is that it is BYO and in Ponsonby and with the discount cards it was reasonably priced but I really do not recommend going there. The service was so bad we were just laughing by the end of it, as what else do you do?
Friendly staff but only one waitress was on duty on Saturday night.

king prawn in shell??? that was a joke. we had an uncooked, fatty meal, rubbish service and overall a terrible experience.
sorry but don’t waste your money going there.

The menu was so over priced for the small and lack lustre meals we received.
The king prawn entree was disappointing, as the prawns were terribly smaller than what we expected and the dish was definitely not worth $15.
My steak kebab meal had very chewy meat and the side salad was boring, unimaginative and cheap.
Wouldn’t come back. Go to your local kebab shop, at least they know how to cook a decent feed.

the food they serve is overrated, thelocation is good and atmosphere is a gimmicy one which is cool, but really the food was average and way way over priced.

Would recommend.
Did you eat at this restaurant? Have an opinion to share?

although one concern is that i think they should have more chicken and other meats on the menu as some people don’t love beef too much!
and if they were thinking of renovating i think more booth seats or comfortable chairs should be put in for comfort!
but otherwise GREAT place
