The first time i visited twelve i was very impressed with the newest style of dining in ashburton, the manager was great and the different rooms for dining were super, sadly on my return a second time was quite the opposite. The women (not the same as the first time) was rude and seemed more focussed on serving her friends drinks, decor changed so no more private settings and the food not as good it was greasy and tasted like it was frozen plus half of the tapas you can buy from the local countdown supermarket.

Me and my partner came here for a quiet drink. Purchased a glass of wine and a speights. Girl was very rude and spent the whole time chatting to her friend. Got bank statement through and realised we had been charged $87.25. Absolutely disgusted!

Stumbled upon this lovely little boutique tapas bar by mistake. Had no idea Ashburton had such a sophisticated little place. Love the intimate setting, not crowded, no drunk little teenagers!! Popped in for a coffee late Friday afternoon but stayed for an early tapas feast and tried a couple of cocktails so didn’t leave til 9. Recommended for those who like the finer things and don’t mind paying for quality, no mad crush to get to the bar, good 60-70s music – with words!!! Nothing like this in ChCh, am impressed and will be telling our friends.

Heavenly food, service and wine selection. Quality decor, lovely atmosphere. I tried the pork belly with a glass of the crater rim Pinot and finished off with a faultless C4 coffee. Indulgence and style – i won’t be going anyplace else in Ashburton!

Fantastic addition to Ashburton,
The food is superb. We are huge Tapas fans and they do it so well here. Very friendly relaxed atmosphere, staff are lovely.
The cocktails are great too, the Sangria is awesome.
Can’t fault the place. Needs to be bigger though as they have to turn a lot of people away!!
