After several visits here with family and friends, we are very impressed with the great food, warm friendly atmosphere and good service too.
The menu is extensive with lots of choice for all kinds of tastes and the food is prepared and brought to the table in really good time, even when they are very busy. The chicken burger and fish of the day are our family favourites.
The staff are professional, welcoming and attentive and everything is well priced. Its great to have such a nice family friendly restaurant in central Hutt at last.
We will be back for sure.

Had difficulty trying to make a booking. The pork was nice but the vegetables were overcooked. The staff were very friendly and we got the meal promptly. It was a typical pub meal.

The meals my friend and I ordered were excellent, very generous portions. The cheesecake was so yummy I’m still thinking of it a week later. I hadn’t been in there for almost 2 years and I enjoyed the meal and service back then, however, the service and food last week was just as good, if not better – exactly what I expected. I’d recommend to family and friends. A good dining experience.

The food was good, really huge serves so the kids could share a main each. Desert was amazing the cheesecake was ultimate but of situation when an ex employee stormed in and began swearing and yelling at staff but they handled it excellently with the duty manager apologising to all and gave us desert on the house which he did not really need to do as it wasn’t their fault but hat off to the duty manager he was so professional I was very impressed the wait staff were lovely and I would definitely take the kids to this kid friendly restaurant.

I was not happy with the service to begin with. Daniel was dressed very inappropriately, wearing “DC” shoes and his pants were scuffed on the ground. When I ordered my meal which I wanted to be a sub, he told me there was no French bread so I could not have that option. Therefore I chose the wrap which he said was the size of a kebab. He came back told me I couldn’t have my steak wrap so I chose the meatballs. When I got my wrap it was tiny and had 2 meatballs in it. Now I am still hungry and on my way to macdonalds. Also my friend was over charged. Not happy with this, I recommend this “restaurant” to hill billy inbreds.

We thought this was a new restaurant because the location was not accurate on the google map. When we arrived we realised it was a pub restaurant we had been to several years before. Based on the reviews, we were hopeful that the meals would have improved. The service was really excellent. Friendly and helpful waiting staff. The quick to cook meals were also pretty good. Fish of the day was almost perfect. But, the slow cooked meals were tired and dry, obviously cooked well ahead of time – lamb shanks and pork belly. And use of processed cheese in the hamburgers was totally unacceptable in a restaurant claiming to represent kiwi cuisine.

I’ve eaten here and have found the staff friendly, the food great, loved the steak by the way, cooked to perfection, and there was stuff for the kids to do too. All in all a great place to eat that didn’t leave a hole in my pocket.
Will certainly be eating here again.

After hearing mixed reviews from friends and family thought we’d head here and use the entertainment card discount during the week.
Very attentive service, we shared the cob garlic loaf for entree which was freshly baked – lovely, warm and soft. I had the pork belly for a main, my partner had a steak. Both meals were fantastic only slight critiscm was the spinach served with the pork belly was quite bitter. All in all meals were still top notch and brought out quickly
Would definitely recommend
