Vanilla Bean Cafe is under New Ownership since Sept 2010.
We have a fantastic menu with the usual Big Breakfast, Eggs Bene, French Toast, Pancakes along with Lambs Fry, Wholemeal pancakes, Omelettes and the best Salmon Fishcakes and Steak Sandwich. Or something lighter like our bacon butty, Bagels, Toasted Sandwiches made with our house baked bread, tasty soup and quiches.
We have gained an excellent reputation for our gluten free range which we make all fresh in house and all of our menu items can be adapted to be GF and of course we make our own GF bread. If you have any special allegies we are more than happy to make something just for you.
Along with the award winning ORB coffee and friendly staff, we look forward to seeing you at the Vanilla Bean.

I would like to offer a review of this business but didn’t really get the chance. We were gifted a “grab one” 2 brunch voucher for Christmas, and realized that it’s expiry date was today. I went to the cafe to enquiry whether we could make a booking for two days time, but was treated so rudely by the middle aged woman in charge that on those grounds alone I will never go to dine at this place, nor would I recommend it. Fair enough, our voucher was expiring today; a pleasant refusal would have left me feeling ok about this. But to be told “No, you had 3 months to use it” in a rude manner was unacceptable. -Dr M A Kennedy

went here last Friday for lunch with my mother.

she ordered a toasted sandwich and I selected a panini to be toasted, two coffees and two pieces of carrot cake.

the food was lovely, well presented and the staff were very attentive.

the carrot cake was a highlight…very moist and tasty!!

we will definitely be back!!
