I was so excited to read that they had vegan cheesecake, and it was amazing. So. Good. Also, the staff were lovely, and the place was spotless; clearly very high hygiene standards, gloves and caps used for everything, could have just about eaten off the floor.

I have been going here since it opened. Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! Lovely people and once again, delicious food. They now have a vegan cheesecake, which is divine and the non vegan would be fooled. I highly recommend that you go and try the food with their pay by the weight system.

I’d heard a lot of good recommendations for this place and finally had the chance to drop in today. It is now officially my favorite place to eat in Hamilton. Wonderful food, friendly, helpful, inexpensive… I only wish it was open evenings (it’s only open on Friday evening) as I’d be there a lot more often! 10 stars!!

The most amazing and friendly staff and great food. I’m not vegan and I love this place! Even if you go in and they have run out of your favorite item they will try hard to accommodate! I could not write enough great things about this place, it’s a must for everyone- vegan and meat eaters. It’s amazing!!

I stopped in on Friday night thinking they were open, but the door was open as they were cleaning up for the night. Friendliest, loveliest couple! They still served us, asking what we had in mind and offering us food they had packed into containers already. I was so grateful because it was just me and my toddler and we were both tired and hungry!
The food was so delicious, I went back the next day for lunch and sad to find it closed. I’d heard my friends rave about this place and it’s already a favourite for me. One of the cheapest most delicious, nutritious eats. Thank you!!

I’m not vegan and I still ADORE this place! Had no idea that food without meat could taste really good. Only tofu I’ve ever eaten and enjoyed! They run on a really cool pay by weight system and it’s the only buffet type place that I’ve ever been to where I’ve never seen an empty dish in the service area (and I go there a lot). Very attentive and friendly staff.

I LOVE this place!! I don’t even live in hamilton so I make the journey just to enjoy the delicious food. It’s on my list of places to eat while I am back on holiday from Abu Dhabi. My meat eater dad can’t believe how good the food is either. The staff, as people have said, are super friendly. I can’t say enough good things about the place. It’s definitely a must try if you haven’t already

Absolutely divine food. Real food, lots of flavour, texture, colour and energy. Food that gives you the buzz of life when eating. Recommend to everyone – not just vegan’s and vego’s.

Always super clean, friendly and with great selection of vegan food. Plus customers are usually given a free cup of jasmine green tea with their food. Very reasonable prices.

This place is just great with the new menu items, my husband is a regular customer as he has to just walk down the road but I have to take time out to drive from work however I just love their food it is cheap and worth the trip.

Wow I love the Vegan Buffet. Shine (staff) is a lovely friendly woman, who always greats us when we are there. The food is tasty, nutritious and cheap! I take all of my family (including my vege 5 yr old). This is such value for money and being able to eat without worrying about whether there is animal products or by products (I am vegan) is such a treat! No-one can say that vegan food is not tasty here. We can all eat in a compassionate and cruelty-free way if more places like Vegan Buffet existed!

I had heard many great things about this place and when my colleague took me there for lunch, I was looking forward to something really nice.

However, I was a little disappointed. While there was quite a wide selection of food and all quite reasonably priced, I found it all a little bland. The food hardly tasted of anything, only sometimes I could discover traces of ginger.

The worst was when I found a big black hair rolled up in one of the dumplings. That was just what I needed to completely lose my appetite.

I give two stars for the variety of food, but taste and obvious problems with hygiene won’t see me returning there any time soon.

This is one of my favourite places to eat. The food is nutritious and costs so little for what you get. Very friendly staff and I agree that whilst the outside appearance isn’t much the food & service make up for it!

First of all – I am not vegetarian! But I love this place. The food is tasty, its cheap and is super filling. Can’t wait to go back!

This place has now changed it’s name to ‘vegan buffet’, and they have added some nice fresh stuff, and things like sushi and a range of noodle dishes to their reppotoire. This is not just for vegans/vegetarians there is something for everyone….so delicious for so cheap.

very tasty food. its the only place in town i can go where i can have everything they offer without concern the food is fully vegan and they use no MSG. my family love to get food from there it is SO cheap you can feed a family for $25-$30. usually i go for lunch i only end up spending $6 and walk away full. i wish they were open to 7 every night. the staff i think own it and put a lot of love into it. you can feel it in there food.

This place is a family favourite. Doesn’t look too amazing from outside, but the food is delicious and cheap and 100% vegan.

A buffet style, Taiwanese restaraunt. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, takeaway or dine-in, and entirely vegan/vegetarian menu.

It may not look like much on first impression, but the food is as tasty as it gets, and is exceptionally good value. You pay by weight (apart from rice which is paid by bowl – $1!) – you can get a a good plate of food for about $5, and for $10 you’d be struggling to balance all the food on the plate!

I’d recommend it to any vegetarian without a doubt!
