We dined at Vic & Whale 2 May 2010. We had a disgusting time there. From the minute we got there the waitress or maitre D (not sure who she was) shrieked like a fish wife at us about where to sit. She then argued with me later on about us not wanting to pay $7.50 per glass for stale /off red wine – we had tasted it first, then asked for 2 glasses out of a NEW bottle. She refused this, so we cancelled the order, but were still charged $15.00 for the two glasses of wine WE DID NOT HAVE. The meal was no big deal (soured by then due to arguing over stale wine), and with the way we were treated by that one woman, who seemed to have some sort of control or be in charge some what, it is a wonder if they get any repeat diners. Most appalling dining experience.
