Village Mall Cafe is pretty average. The food is typical of many cafes, serving pies and other assorted hot food. Very little vegetarian options, but the small quiche I did have was good. Not many options that are healthy either. I was a bit appalled at the fact that they had a fridge containing drinks right up against a table, and I had to ask the diner who was sitting to move out of the way so I could choose a drink which I found very unprofessional too.
