When my meal arrived, it was really small…I’m a small person with no large appetite, I just thought for $15 it would be a bit more generous. I couldn’t spot the extra mushrooms either, I think they were forgotten, unless they were actually cut up and included in the scramble. The Scramble was really yummy, just really small.
As an avid tea at cafes drinker, a larger pot would be great too, I couldn’t even get 2 cups from the pot.

still the best cafe in auckland to visit with vege friends.
coffee is seriously good (might be the new barista) and the eggs benedict is hard to beat. in fact i would go so far as to say they are probably the best eggs benny offering in auckland… the potato hash is the best hangover cure ever!
the new items on the menu all look really amazing so will have to come back soon for sure.

Food is always quick and the decor is simple and clean.
I only wish it was bigger so we can take bigger groups of friends!
Love the friendly vibe.

Perfect place to start the day, recommend the Breakfast salad and the vegan treats (not that I’m vegan but totally delish!!) Looking forward to my next visit!
In response to your response why so shocked? Take the criticism and be honest. You hid in the kitchen I waited for you, you would’nt come out, you’ve got an open kitchen for gods sake!!! (lol) You shook your head and would’nt come out to see me.
And as for my comments regarding what you looklike, were visual us humans and I’ve got mates in hospo who are highly successful that don’t advertMoreise their tatts cause you know sometimes it’s just a little bit unprofessional, but who cares bout that just take it on the chin just like we had to take your lack of customer service. And yes cause of the length of time I’ve been in hospo I know what customer service is and should be. I’ve worked both in the kitchen aswell as front of house so dude when I go out and spend money I expect it to be money well spent and even the chick that served me the “barista” (lol) agreed about your runny eggs????
As for your loyal clientele it is most probably made up of your friends and friends of friends etc or people that have’nt ordered the scrambled eggs (lol) So dude be a man take the criticism and have’nt you heard of the old adage “the customer is always right” sheeesh pretty damn basic. P.s check your grammar and use spell check next time you want to respond to me cheers lol.
Great coffee and the cheese burger to die for!
Vinyl stack is the choice of champions for breakfast.
Good food cooked with love
