Awesome place the food is great and tasty good prices, the service is quick and friendly place is warm with great surroundings overall a very good place to get a meal! =)

I had a mixed opinion of Wagamama. The food was wonderful. varied flavours and extremely tasty. The atmosphere was not so great…it had the feeling of a mall food court or a school canteen.
The high ceilings made it a little chilly, and it was very noisy with many tables. For the price of the food ($16-$22 for mains) I would have expected more comfortable surroundings. Overall, I probably would not eat in again.

I have been to this restaurant about 6-7 times and obviously love it! I love the service. It is fast and friendly. The whole idea of sitting on a bench is amusing and its amazing the people you meet. And of course the food is fantastic! It is one of my favourite places to eat in Christchurch. Thanks for coming to Christchurch.

A great experience, a good range of choices and all of it (bar the pickles) cooked while you wait. Prices were moderate and the bill at the end did not shock like so many other restaurants bills do, although $8.50 for a bottle of water did make my heart skip.

Pictures on the menu would be nice, as there were dishes that others were eating that I would have liked to try.

Sharing tables with other diners was interesting and I would have no problems with repeating the experience.

The biggest disappointment to the place is the large auditorium effect where the background noise level of other diners is too high making a conversation difficult, and if the place was full almost impossible.

Overall though, I would love to revisit this restaurant.
