Went to the cafe while on vacation for brunch. The cafe was quiet and had a lovely outlook onto a pond – very tranquil.
I ordered blueberry pancakes with honey yoghurt and my husband ordered eggs, salmon etc.
We both loved our meals. The meals were presented beautifully. My pancakes had the perfect balance of sweetness. It was a wonderful start to a fabulous day in Paihia. Thanks to the young chef for such a great brunch.

I completely agree with the other comments. A lovely spot, great food, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. We also particularly enjoyed watching the ducks and eels! This cafe added to a very enjoyable day.

Located in the heart of the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds this cafe has a beautiful, relaxed Bay of Islands feel to the cafe and the outdoor dining. Perfect for a late brunch, early lunch in the afternoon sun; their menu is varied and affordable. An outstanding feature is the Cajun Chicken Salad and the ever-famous Sweetcorn Fritters. Kids love to run through their bush border and large grassed area, while parents can enjoy a wine or beer under the big sun umbrellas. Great food, lovely outdoor area, friendly staff with a relaxed feel.
