We dined here last night and thoroughly enjoyed not only our meals but the surroundings, views and wines aswell. The food was superb, You couldn’t fault it if you tried! Our waiter was very friendly and knew what he was talking about. I’d give this 10 stars if I could!

The service was impecable and unfortunately we didnt get his name but he was fantastic.
I ordered the cheese soufle to start – it should have come with a “to share” warning – it was huge and it was devine.
I ordered the pork belly – wonderful as it was and committed the cardinal chef sin by asking for the crackling to be crackled a tad more – this was not a problem – I think I felt worse about it than the chef would have.
Our wine was perfect – Wild Earth pinot, great temperature, food was great, service wonderful – overall experience – fantastic.

Had some banter with the two chefs before we sat down to a great dinner. Pork terrine to start was fantastic along with it’s watercress salad, and breads came along with it when requested, great flavours, the scallops to were of a great size. Mains were generous and with a side dish thrown in nearly filled us up. I had the sole with clams ,nice and delicate flavour but very nice.
We manage to squeeze in some desserts which were amazing, so much fun, I had the liquid centre chocolate mousse which popped in the mouth and the brûlée was to die for, service was ok, not as sharp as expected…… Loved it all, here’s go my new local
