After being on the road all day we stopped into the waterline cafe for lunch, while waiting on the ferry. The food was spectacular, excellent presentation, clean restaurant, friendly community feel, reasonable prices (especially for budget backpackers like myself), and the owner of the place was the only person working that day, I’m impressed, great job. Anyone waiting on the ferry near Kohukohu should stop in, for some tea.

I always enjoy eating at the waterline the food is always really tasty and fresh the ambiance is calm and welcoming and having live music is always a crowd pleaser

We were recommended to this place and would certainly recommend it ourselves. The food was great, and the service second to none and very friendly and welcomming. The views are absolutely stunning!

A great place with magnificant views and friendly people, and of course, amazing food! Soulfood Pickles and Chutneys to take away as a tasty souvenir or gift from the Far North. Highly Reccommended.
