I had never been to Wellington and came for a visit on my own for a week. I ordered a simple chicken breast and veggie meal. When I arrived at Waterloo Bar & Grill I asked the person who took my order for their food rating and he mocked me by shouting out loud to his colleague behind the bar “SHE WANTS TO KNOW OUR FOOD RATING!!! Hahaha” he said: “we don’t do food ratings in Wellington”. Being new to Wellies I took him at his word, plus he made me feel like a complete tool. When my food arrived it looked pretty good & I ate my veggies and left the chicken for last. But a few bites into the meal i got a whiff of the chicken. I cut a piece off and held it up to my nose and to my disgust it was off. So off in fact that it reeked. I simply got up and quietly placed my plate on the counter and told the twat behind the service counter that his chicken is off and walked out. I will never ever recommend you eat at this establishment, EVER!!!
