This was the worst cafe I have ever been to! We ordered two paninis and a drink. The staff were rude, uninterested and didn’t even say hello when we were standing across the counter from them. when we said thanks to them they said “sweet as” – not exactly what you would expect from hospitality staff. THe paninis were a minimal effort.. two thin bits of meat placed at the very front of the bread- no sauce… my 8month old would make a better one. AND they were $8.50 each? Embarrassing that tourists would go to this cafe.. surely New Zealanders we can do better?! Surely the ZOO can do better
