Blimey! A Tuesday lunchtime I figured I might be the only diner, but there were over 40 people in there, all busy eating or waiting for food (and few if any who’ll see 50 again!).
Well, I guess that’s why my meal took 27 minutes – not good, but surely exceptional circumstances (though the bartender reckoned this crowd wasn’t abnormal!?!).
Anyway, $12 roast meal was very good – basic fare but nicely cooked, and plenty of it. AND they served pumpkin without its skin, something I really like!

Don’t let the location and Outside Appearance put you off! Fantastic value for money here. Even though there is little to choose from, you do get your moneys worth. I got the sole fillet meal and got three large soles – more than I was expecting. Also on another outing, I got the Crumbed Chicken; also got a massive portion which I wasn’t expecting – ended up having to take it home. Very good portions – just make sure you remind them if you have desert, they completely forgot that I ordered a Sundae once.
