This was the second time I had called in here, but the first time was only for coffee. On this occasion I succumbed to the temptation of lunch, and chose a chicken enchilada from the menu, along with tea for one. Firstly, the surroundings are great, as is the service from the very friendly owner and staff. The quality of the meal was fine, but I had an issue with the quantity. A small enchilada, a small (albeit very good) salad, with a teaspoonful each of guacamole, salsa and sour cream seemed a bit meagre for $18.50. It was served on a small plate which it didn’t fill up and it wouldn’t have been out of place as an entree. Serving tea in a plunger was a nice touch, but $5.00 for tea would be pushing it even in a classy mid city cafe.

Great service, lovely location.

Had a massive date scone with jam and cream and a latte.
