Unfortunately the food was not up to scratch, we asked for a green chicken curry and a stirfried rice. the green curry had no falvour at all, very small pieces of dry chicken, the rice had pieces of rotten carrots and hardly any meat….

Not to mension the extreamly poor service of that lady. the place is a white warehouse with tables, not colour, they have had the same song playing 20 minutes….

Honestly we eat half of the meal and left….

Please do no waste you money over there….

Feel the need to write this as they have had a few bad reviews lately. Firstly I can understand past diners experiences as it certainly wasnt the best we have had. However in fairness, must give credit where its due. The food was lovely. Hot and flavoursome. Had the duck and the prawns, both of which were plentiful.
Sadly where this place is let down is the atmosphere. Very clean and white which makes it a bit clinical. Just one room with lots of tables. Maybe a couple of bamboo partitions or large green planters would break the room up a bit. Trying to get a smile from the young waitress took a lot of work on my part. However she was very courteous and thanked us for coming.
Another thing that could help is we were not offered a drink list even though I saw they were fully licensed and BYO. We had to ask for one which did finally bring that smile to her lovely face. Funny made a nice change not to have it pushed in your face like most places who try to make as much as possible from the drinks. But it should be offered as we were left feeling was the water all there was. Prices of the wines and beers were reasonable so we were quite happy to partake.
So if you can get past the obstacles, give this wee restaurant a try, the food is worth it.

We went here with friends with a DailyDo voucher. The service was pretty much the worst I’d ever had. Only one waitress – an older Thai lady – for the whole place which was fairly busy. She was annoyed at us right from when we turned up because she had thought we’d only booked for two people (which I hadn’t). She rushed us the whole night through, snapped at us and everything. Was a challenge just trying to get drinks. I understand they were understaffed but that’s no excuse to be mad at everyone for eating there!

The food was nice but all 3 of the curries came out too hot when none of them had ordered it hot. We asked for one to be remade because my poor friend was on fire and couldn’t enjoy it all. This REALLY made the waitress angry because some had been eaten – go figure! That’s how you find out it’s too hot, by eating some! She did exchange it but only with half a meal and very angrily.

The decor was average, nothing special. The only good things I have to say was that the entrees and the Pad Thai were nice and everything was reasonably priced, including wine. Fast delivery of meals too. Overall though it was not enough to remedy the terrible service which really killed the evening. I would not recommend this place AT ALL!

The worst dining experience i have ever had!

Went here for a friends birthday meal in a group of 16. The one staff member who could take orders offered to take our orders before most of our party had arrived. We declined and said we would wait for everyone to arrive. This was about 7pm. We asked if we could make some drink orders and the staff member said one minute and she would be back. During this time the restaurant got busier and we ended up ordering our drinks individually from the bar there where funnily enough the only staff member who could pour drinks was the one taking orders.

Once our party had arrived we asked one of the other staff members if we could order. She said she would get someone. We waited …. and waited…. during this time some of our group went to a nearby liqour store and bought some wine. We finally got up and asked the waitress direct if she could take our orders. She said one minute. We then got up again to ask if we could order. She finally came back to take our orders in no particular order. This was roughly 8pm.

We waited and waited…..8.30pm……around 8.45pm our first meal came out. Most of the table were pretty hungry by this point. The meals then proceeded to come out ONE attime about every 4 or 5 minutes. Some of our party had to leave the restaurant before others had even receieved their meals. To make matters worse meals were pretty bland all round

We complained during the service and they offered a 15% discount.

We then complained again at the end of the service and got a 50% discount.

Do not go here in a large group!!!!

Well, I ate in here for the first time tonight, and really, I have to say it was an epic fail as an experience. Which was embarrassing, as I recommended it to my two fellow diners, who hadn’t been there before.

I have had takeaways from here numerous times and found it to be very pleasant, but as a restaurant experience – nope. The place was freezing cold. The waitress was incredibly peculiar – she WOULD NOT provide us with a drinks menu, so we had to ask what was available in terms of drink. Here is how the conversation went. ‘Well, we have wine and non-alcoholic drinks’ ‘What wines do you have?’ ‘White and red’, ‘What in the way of reds, then?’, ‘Well, we have Merlot, and Cabernet sauvingnon, and…’ HONESTLY, I am not kidding. It was like pulling teeth and we ended up having to order a glass of Pinot, the provenance (and price) of which we were never able to see. Then we had to start the same stupid merry-go-round when one of us wanted a soft drink. Idiotic.

The chicken satay I ordered as an entree was overcooked, tough and stringy. The tempura vegetables my friend ordered were heavy with grease. The mains, when they eventually arrived (no problems for us like other reviewers have had here with it being really speedy – which is a pity, as we had a two-year-old with us), were also brought out one at a time with at least three or four minute intervals between them (and there were six customers in the whole restaurant at the time so they were not exactly overwhelmed). My friends fortunately found their meals quite acceptable, sadly I cannot say the same. I had pad thai, which I have had from here before, and I know it can be very good. However, once again the chicken it contained was overcooked, and the noodles were undercooked, making the whole thing, well, really chewy.

And to cap it all off, I think we were overcharged as well, although I cannot be sure of this as we were never presented with an itemised bill, and seeing as we never saw a wine list, the apparent discrepancy of $13 could of course be because one of us inadvertently had a $20 or $22 glass of wine – though I frankly doubt that a place like this does much trade in $22/glass wines…

Not an experience I am keen to repeat in a hurry.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while at work and decided to call in on our way home. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Best Thai food we have had ever in NZ.
I would recommend this establishment to my peers, family and friends as it is value for money.
I will definitely be returning and enjoying the wonderful taste of Thai food.

The food was bland compared to many other Thai restaurants in Auckland.
Worst of all, the service was rushed. We went for dinner, our orders were taken within 5 minutes, entree arrived 5 minutes later and mains arrived 10 minutes after that. Total time to finish all food in restaurant was 30 minutes.
We got the whole impression the place was essentially a fast food joint. Get the customers in and out as fast as possible. Not nice.
Thai atmosphere was lacking. Decor could be much more authentic.
Will I be going back – no way ! There are multitudes many better Thai restaurants in Auckland.
