I visit Gisborne for work on a regular basis and always pay a visit to Yoko Sushi.
The food is fresh and delicious and the staff polite and accommodating!
I have also used their catering service for a couple of functions that I have been involved with organising.
They are experience in dealing with out catering and have always found the whole experience a positive one!

Back when Yoko did meals, I enjoyed what has to be described as the most epic Kingfish I have ever had the pleasure of.
Since their sushi has gone strong as a lunch time treat. The lady in there is one of the most friendly and welcoming people you will ever meet, the same can not be said for her anglo employee who will happily chat to someone else while serving you and sneer at you on the way out.
Hard to find good help these days…

Yoko’Sushi Express has the BEST sushi that I have ever tasted made fresh onsite!
The staff are very friendly and I often have great conversations with the owner herself Yoko!
I highly recommend that you visit Yoko Sushi for a great sushi experience when you visit Gisborne.
