Always consistently great fish and chips. Their chips are handmade not pre-frozen and their crumbed fish is fantastic. We’ve been going there for 6 years and they’ve never mucked up our order.

This is our local, nothing flash but consistently good food

I used to only go to Yum Yum when I child in upper hutt I have been away 20 years and I still maintain this is the best chips in New Zealand they make them from spuds you know how they used to be! yummm yummmm

We are trying out every fish and chip shop in Upper hutt and rating them accordingly. We give Yum Yum a 3 because the food tasted good, portion size was good and price was good, however the fish was a bit oily/rubbery and the chips didn’t look appealing.

Consistently the best fish & chips! I have tried others in the area but always come back to Yum Yums. Their fish is always good and their chips, for me, are just perfect every time. My family & I have never had anything from this takeaway that has been a dud. The family that owns/runs Yums Yums must be among the hardest working people around. Keep up the good work!
