I will never return to Zumo. A couple of months ago I was left waiting for 20min and found out that they had lost my order and had to wait a further 15min while they made my coffees. To compensate however, they offered me a free coffee card to use the next time I was there. I didn’t return until today but did so because I realised that my coffee card had a freebie owing and I also had a free coffee card. Thought this would be a good time to shout the work mates. I was told that the coffee card would not be honoured cos they stopped using them in March….even though there is no mention of an expiry anywhere on the card. Then the owner/manager came out and asked where I got the free coffee card. I explained why and when I was given it and he basically implied that I was a liar, saying that those cards hadn’t been issued for over a year. I looked at him blankly, astonished that he would be prepared to lose a customer (including my work colleagues) over a couple of coffees. But he was quite adamant that he would not honour the cards and so I walked out.
Really bad customer service!!! Nelson is too small to treat customers like crap.

Best coffee and atmosphere in Nelson. A true coffee house. End of story.

Great choice of fresh coffee. Parking outside. Quick and very professional service. Relaxed atmosphere. Very good.
