My husband and I had dinner at your restaurant tonight. I would like to thank you and your staff for a fantastic night. We bought a voucher via yazoom the other night and enjoyed your set menu. The entree was perfect assortment to get your taste buds going. The main menu ( Scotch Fillet ) was perfectly cooked. The desert (Plum Crumble Pie ) was most defiantly heavenly. The service was impeccable and defiantly the best I have experienced. Thank you so much for a wonderful night.

I would only have nice things to say about this place. My partner and I have been here a few times for breakfast and for dinner. Great barrista! I would have to say that the coffees and the hot chocolates are one of the best that we have had! The breakfast meals and dinner mains are decent servings! The creamy mushroom is absolutely beautiful, having had it in the big breakfast and on my steak dinner main. I had the bread and butter pudding, hot out of the oven and it was great on a chilly winter night! It may have been better with hot custard instead of ice-cream in the winter time? The service had always been excellent, and their little daughter is very friendly and extremely cute. I would come back with friends and family, as the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that you get. =)

A friend and I went there for a random lunch. Lured by the fancy restaurant façade and walls. My friend ordered a chicken salad and I ordered a pasta dish. The salad was some $25.00. It was crazy disappointing… you could have made the salad for a $1.00. MacD’d salads put this $25.00 salad to shame. It was literally 3 pieces of iceberg lettuce, three stingy pieces of bland chicken and a bit of cheese. The portions were an absolute rip off. I had a pasta carbonara from memory. It was very average and could have had a better pasta from La Porchetta at half the price. Didn’t want to make a drama because the service was good and we were the only people in the restaurant for lunch. Felt ripped off and won’t be going again.

Awesome food at this newly discovered little eatery downtown Auckland. Located in Vero building on Shortland Street. You can’t get better value for money than at Pavillion. I mean $12.90 for a main is just super value especially in Auckland. Keep it up you guys.

I held a baby shower for a dear friend of mine and in total there was 5 of us who enjoyed the food! the company of management and staff who helped us throughout the night to make it an enjoyable one for the mother-to-be, myself and friends. Very nice food although we only had the entrees and dessert we were all very full 
delicious! would definitely RECOMMEND! & definitely be back!!

Went to Santa Lucia for dinner on Sunday night. Atmosphere was great – loved the decor on the walls! Food was nice, a bit on the salty side. Could do with much less salt, but other than that we had a pleasant dining experience.

Had dinner a few weeks ago, got greeted by the staff whom were wonderful and very well trained. I asked for a romantic table for me and my partner, received it straight away. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. All in all a very wonderful experience. Definitely would recommend it, I will personally be back for more.

The open hog sandwich and the lasagne we chose yesterday were cooked to perfection. The meals arrived quickly and were so tasty. Generous portions, too. Next time we will try and find room for some of the very tempting desserts, all made on the premises. The staff were great, the prices were very reasonable and we went away happy!

Best to avoid this place like a disease on the weekends. The food is decent but the waitering staff are deplorable. Our family of 5 arrived for breakfast and were ask to be seated at a table that was just being cleared. The waitress took the dishes away but then forgot that she needed to clean/wipe it up. NO menus were brought to the table so my wife went up to the counter to ask whether the table could be given a wiped and the barista said he would send someone and was told to help herself to the menus. 5 minutes pass and STILL NO staff came to clean the table. Then the same waitress who cleared the table arrived to take our orders. I requested that the table be cleaned but because she was probably new and unfamiliar with her duties and language seem to be an issue, she went away and another waitress turned up to wipe the table with a dry paper napkin. This was definitely a half hearted effort on her part. She then progressed to take our order on the paper coaster which normally lines the coffee cups. The food arrived promptly with even what seemed to be kitchen staff serving food. But as the cafe got busier my wife’s order of a Mocha came out as a “flat-white”. Then another hot beverage arrived and the confusion started about what had been served. By this stage, a male who I presume is the owner arrived and was helping with service. I brought to his attention that my wife’s drink was incorrect which he took away but NEVER REPLACED. Even more disappointing, I discovered a fairly large coffee stain on my coat that was hanging behind my seat when i got home. Obviously, spilled by the staff as they were serving other tables. Unfortunately, the cafe cannot cope with a busy Sunday morning. The barista tries to run the floor and then gets the orders wrong, the staff obviously aren’t trained adequately. At least our children enjoyed their meals but then cooking a breakfast menu is not exactly “rocket-science”

I have been coming here for at least 3 years and have had great service every time. The prices may be a little higher than other cafes in the area but it’s worth paying a little extra for the quality of the food. Portions sizes are good and the meals are always nicely presented and delicious. Great coffee too.

Friend recommended this place so I went there with friends twice for lunch and it was fantastic. Last week, we went there for dinner for my friend leaving party and we were disappointed. The service was slow and the next table to us had to leave. When the food arrived, it doesn’t look appetizing at all. I ordered roast pork belly. Wish they put a little bit green as a decoration to make it more inviting to eat. Not going back for dinner but would still love to have lunch there again. Love the coffee though..

Got the baileys cheesecake from Frasers and it was uneatable there was no taste of baileys what so ever and the whole thing tasted of nothing. I love Mt Eden village but will not be going back there again for something sweet as its the second time we have had something that was uneatable.

excellent coffee – i drop in here whenever i can get a park and its usually mid afternoon. Lately the coffee has got even better with a new brand they switched to. Real coffee taste and I now understand what crave is all about. Would be a 5 star but only 1 staff person in off peak times who has to make coffee as well as serve customers so if you luck out and there are other customers in front of you it can take a while

good quality coffe no doubt but service is slow. Every time i drop in there are many staff chatting behind the counter and only 1 making the coffee. Last time I went I had to wait about 8mins before one of the staff wondered why I was the only one waiting and still no coffee. The guy making coffee hadnt seen my order so quickly made it- it was rushed, milk was luke warm- not a nice coffee so wont be waiting there any longer. Overall – good coffee – need to improve on service and speed. Surely you could look at running 2 machines ?

Just appalling Serice was rubbish, actually rude Coffee was bland. Turns out it was just another corporate coffee outfit hiding under a thin veneer of ‘cool branding’ which was very derivative – should have guessed.

went here yesterday [mothers day ] as had booked a table for 14…from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and our custom valued .Our waitress could not have been more attentive ,friendly and just on to it ,we spent a good three hours relaxing and being catered for ..will be back for sure ….also exceptional value for money and first rate food for everyone

Very disappointing breakfast. Lovely location, alright service but food was terrible. Warmed up cheap thinly sliced ham is not bacon! Soggy pale coloured bread is not french toast! We visited on a very busy day but this is no excuse to serve poorly put together food. Coffee was hot and good

Had the bucket of garlic prawns. The prawns arrived and were amazing to look st. Fat, juicy and fresh. Unfortunately i was put off as they were not deveinec and there was hardly any garlic in the butter sauce.

Fabulous wee place! Homemade food on site and you must try the Pesto, Tomato and Feta Bagel, a real favourite. Thanks for offering proper selection of exotic teas, rather than a standard tea bag type that most places tend to do! Thanks to the lovely owners, we will continue to enjoy going back and back to this cafe.
