What a nice restaurant this is! A high standard of food, pleasant, professional service and a clean, modern setting. I opted for a garlic ciabatta with hummus, followed by a generous and tasty pizza and wasn’t disappointed. The menu as a whole looks impressive with surely every taste in food covered. I wasn’t drinking but the wine list provided a great selection with an understandable emphasis on the local product. A good range of bottled beers, too. Cromwell is well served by reasonable pub-type restaurants and there are some classy fine dining choices within a few kilometres of the town centre, but for anyone who wants a good standard of fine dining experience without leaving Cromwell’s town area, Feast should satisfy.

This was the third or fourth time over a three year period I have dined (alone) at the Brew House when in Cromwell on business. Some of the “one review wonders” below would have you believe this is an East London soup kitchen but my experience has been quite to the contrary. I have always found the staff friendly and efficient; the food plentiful and well presented. Realistically, the Brew House is a pub restaurant rather than a fine dining establishment, but as far as pub food goes it is well above average. I shall return from time to time as I consider it reliably good.
