What a wee little gem hidden away in Spreydon, such professional polite friendly staff, willing to go the extra mile. Very generous servings and perfect mango lassi to round of the perfect dinner. We had a pleasant night at Indian Sumner. The food was tasty, however none of us were asked for the spice level we wanted which some of the crew found interesting. No Kingfisher Strong was available (a cardinal sin to some if us). The service was friendly but they seemed to struggle with dealing with a large group. Overall a good night and enjoyable food.

Great website, ordered via phone for takeaway, good service. Had butter chicken, quite authentic taste and naan authentic texture. Very satisfied. Not for dining from what i saw, but a couple tables are supplied so is a possibility. Very good.

Just had our first meal at Curry Time. One of the best curries we’ve had in Christchurch. The staff were very helpful and polite. The service was great, just the right amount of time between courses. The food was served on HOT plates, almost unheard of in restaurants these days. We will certainly be going again.

So happy to see this restaurant open again. We were regulars previously. Has a funky new look and a great menu and atmosphere. We have been back three times since it re-opened and, apart from a few funny moments relating to the service on the first visit it has all been smooth as. The food is the same great food and our girls love it too. They know how to make a mild dish mild so we can enjoy our favourite indian as a family. Highly recommended

Great assett to the Redwood area, Have eaten in and had takeaways, nice modern comfortable interior and great food and service. Have no hesitation in recommending “Curry Time” – support the local Business !

Have been there for lunch (i.e. limited, but reasonably priced menu). Curries (butter chicken and beef vindaloo) tasty (though the beef must have been a rather old cow before they turned it into meat). Interesting atmosphere though probably more suited to a hot summer than a grey & chilly autumn day …) and friendly, though not particularly efficient staff. Probably not a reason to come back to Sumner, but If I am there anyway and hungry, I might pop in again.

The Christchurch Curry Club had a really good meal here. The food was very tasty and cooked the way it was ordered. We recommend giving this place a try!

This is the most incredible Indian restaurant that Christchurch has, and we’ve done our research! The food is wonderful and good value. The staff are really friendly. Would highly recommend to everyone that likes great Indian food.
