we ordered the vegetarian antipasto pizza.when asked how our pizza was by sheila the waitress, we pointed out there were no artichokes,as per menu.(the eggplant was not evident either)sheila said,’oh we are out of that at the moment’. later she came back and said,’the artichokes had just come in,did we want them as a side dish?’whether it was seeing our incredulous looks or not, she went on to say,”we don’t usually put them on the pizza as most people do not like them.they are only available on request.’ they are on the menu.her comments were insulting.we were entitled not to pay our full bill.we did, but no apologies were forthcoming.where do they get these people?

Loved the location the building and my pizza omg the cheese pizza my mouth is watering already while remembering and I’m not a huge fan of blue cheese however as they say its just a hint. we had so much pizza after sharing the large between two we had some for lunch the next day and I gotta say that cheese one just keeps getting better. Found the staff to be friendly too which helps

We all meet here for a friends birthday and should have known from the moment we walked in that it wasn’t going to be good. As first time dinners we had no idea where to go to be seated and we packed in the tiny corridor with people eating to one side, people waiting for tables and people squeezing past to leave. When we did finally get to the be seated our table wasn’t ready and as there was no waiting space inside we were sent outside to wait. Finally we were able to be seated at a table that was wedged up against the wall to the point where we had to climb over the chairs. We had to read the menu by candle light as it was that dark, we had to yell at each other as the music was too loud and the place was so jammed with people that the waiter had to really squeeze past all the tables. it was also crazy hot and there was no fresh air. Meant we couldn’t wait to leave. Would not recommend for anyone who wants to have a conversation, be able to more from the table with out clambering over chairs and others or for people that don’t like sweating up a storm while eatting.

I ordered the Pizza online because it is faster to order online than waiting on the phone. Ordered the pizza at 7pm and it said that the pizza would be ready to pick up at 7.26pm, so we got there at 7.30pm and went up to the register and waited for a while assuming it was ready, only to find that the lady couldn’t find our pizza order so after asking her to politely find it for us, she told us later that the pizza just went into the oven, and that it would be a 15 minute wait. So by around 8pm our pizza was ready to take home. I admit that the restaurant was quite busy but I do recommend that they have a more accurate time to when the pizza would be ready to pick up, to avoid unhappy customers. However the pizza was delicious, we had the envy without onions. It’s recommended to come here on a not so busy night as the pizza is worth the $15 (slightly more expensive than other pizza takeaways). Overall, customer service was ok and the pizza was nice!

The Holy Grail is no 5 star restaurant. It is however 5 star entertainment for what it’s meant to be, the best sports bar I’ve attended to watch a game in. I now live in Perth WA and tell everyone of the great experiences to be had at the Holy Grail. If you can’t make a game live, it’s the next best place to be. To be in the top bar, front row between Australians and South Africans watching the All Blacks, nothing is better.

If you are with kids who are loud, perfect. If you want a good time, no luck. Too noisy, nothing special. Table beside us was empty for literally 30 seconds. They cleared it, brushed the crumbs way, replaced the knives and forks and sat the next occupants there. Within the given time. Unhygenic. Pizza better then dominos pizzahut, but not good.

I’m a huge fan of Italian foods, not so much the pizzas but the pasta dishes. My wife being a born and bred Cantabrian had fond student memories of this place and so we decided to give it a go. And to be honest I’m always a bit cynical of chains. For my wife it was a bit dejavu seeing groups of students dining together at the next table. The place was busy, but we still managed to get a table after waiting just long enough to get it clean, although clean would be interesting when everything is being wiped with he same grotty looking cloth. The place was busy, a big table of around 16 people ensured the place was never entirely quiet, but wouldnt expect these places to be quiet either. We were seated in a booth seat which was good because it was both comfortable and felt a bit more secluded inside a busy restaurant. Our table had a mixture of pizzas and pastas and the general verdict about all the food was just kinda ‘meh’. You know the kinda meh I mean … Ok, but had better meh. The food was generally just bland, but edible. Some flavours, such as garlic in the pasta dish stuck out but overall, just wasn’t there for me. I’m even writing a bland review about what I found to be bland food because it was all just … MEH!
