Have just visited this restaurant with a group of friends and could not fault it for service, atmosphere and quality of food. The wait staff were excellent and anticipated your needs prior to you! Food was fantastic and there was not one grumble amongst our group, some of whom are fussy eaters. Sadly it was not BYO and naturally prices were reflected in the bill total.. All in all a very enjoyable evening was had by all. Wouldn’t hesitate to return on another occasion.

Went back recently after vowing never to go again about 2 years ago as the noise and service then was horrific! But we had a lovely meal and there is now a carpet on the floor so we could hear conversation. Would now return again soon.

Been there at least 3 times, never had a bad experience. But occasionally if they are busy the service can be a little slow, but nothing major. They messed up my order once but again nothing major and they were quick to sort it out, and discount us. The food is really good, and the option to create your own salad or pasta is also really good. Well worth a try.

We ordered the Bread Cob and the Mussels for our entree, the bread dipped in the mussels sauce was to die for and the mussels were so fat and juicy, yummy. Our mains my partner ordered the Pork Belly and I ordered the lamb dish **Dukkah** everything was just delicious and meat cooked to perfection. Of course a meal is not complete without dessert, we ordered the Sticky Date pudding and I the Chocolate Raspberry Tart. Delicious. The experience in total, the food was really tasty and atmosphere very pleasant. I would suggest that they may wish to hire more staff from the sudden in flux of more customers. I am so going back there again!

What can I say, not a lot of anything good to be honest! Myself and a friend had the canneloni and it was the biggest dissappoint I have experienced from a restaurant. It was bland, disgusting and even my friends cat wouldnt eat the leftovers!!! I also had the Garlic King Prawns and this dish was just as disappointing. Two completely different dishes, both sadly lacking in flavour, and we would have done better making our own or getting a frozen Italian dinner from the supermarket. We will not be going back.

After reading some of the other reviews I was a little apprehensive but when we arrived it was nice and warm, cosy, the candles were lit and the music was playing…lovely ambiance. The food was delicious, I had prawns, involtini and cheesecake. We took our own wine which was great and the staff were very friendly. We had a wonderful dinner out, thank you Amphora!!

We dined here for mothers day. Table of 7. The staff are very friendly and service was excellent. The main meat on the dishes were very yummy! But all our dishes had the same PLAIN side, which was the let down. Consisting of Lettuce, Tomato, Carrot, Potatoes. Still a lovely night out.

I bought a grabone voucher for this restaurant and have on several occasions tried to make a reservation, they seem to always be fully booked. The voucher is valid until the 29th of April and in spite of them being again fully booked, they refused to extend the voucher over its validity date and refused to restitute the money I paid for it. It gives the strong impression that a grabone customer is an easy prey because they already have the money and it makes it easy for them just to say all the time “we are booked”.

I regret giving them 1 star…even that is too good… Went there with my wife and two young daughters for dinner. Seated in the outside section. 1st waitress came over and took our entrée order. She was soon followed by another waitress who asked for my credit card for “security reasons” – an unusual and disappointing experience. We had our entrée and could not bear staying there long enough to have the mains…so we walked out…Never to Return…I will be checking my credit card for unauthorised transactions. If you can’t trust your customers, why should they trust you?
