Had lunch at Council Cafe this week, absolutely divine! The choice on the menu is really great and we particularly enjoyed the Winter Crunch salad and also the pumpkin and ricotta tart, really really yum! Sheryl

Wow – this must be Morrinsvilles best kept secret! What a fabulous spot, and amazing food. Selena served us and the service was second to none, plus the coffee was spot on! I had the chocolate and raspberry brownie – my gosh….the absolaute best brownie I have ever eaten! My friend had a Magic Morrinsville Mushrooms and he rated them 10/10! Definately worth a trip to this little haven!

Their Gluten Free Vegetable Frittata is a-mazing! Tasty as gooey spinach-y centre. Cool retro stylings in cafe. Yet to try anything else but will stop again for sure.

I have in the past been to Ironique and really enjoyed my meal. Well last night 11/05/2012 has defiantly put a sour taste in my mouth and at this point and time I SHELL NOT BE BACK!! My three girl friends and I meet once a month to enjoy dinners in the greater Waikato area. This has been by far the most disappointing so far. The Waiting Staff were not very well informed on the menu and could defiantly do with some grammar lesson’s. The my Burger was the nicer of the four meals but was not Scotch Fillet in it as I had been informed. The Fish and Chip meal clearly was frozen fish that had been used. The Wrapped Chicken Breast was dry and didn’t come with a sauce. But the Smoked Chicken Fettuccine was the tasteless meal of all, the sauce was runny and sloppy and there were NO Mushrooms when extra had been requested. Some big improvements need to be made before I would consider returning. Not the best way to impress Local Chef’s.
