Got takeaways from here tonight. The stir fried rice noodles with seafood was a sloppy mess I am not sure there was any seasoning but water it was in edible I would not give it to my dog. The chicken vermicelli was also not seasoned but at least it wasn’t sloppy. I am definitely not going back.

Have always wanted to eat lunch here but it is always so busy. This time managed to grab a table without any problems thinking we had just missed the main rush (it was 1pm). We were told the wait was 25 minutes. It ended up 50 minutes. After asking the surly waitress where our meals we were told “you knew there was a wait” – no apologies. It could have been forgiven if the meals were good but alas no. My husbands eggs benedict was 30 seconds away from being hard boiled eggs. If we hadn’t been so hungry and hadn’t had to wait 50 minutes, he would have sent his meal back. Such a huge disappointment. Their cabinet food always looks delicious. Just don’t bother ordering from the menu.

We go to Denny’s regularly for dessert. We always order the hot fudge cake, and I get the choc brownie thing with peanut butter in the middle. Their desserts are consistent and good, for a cheap dessert. Can’t comment on their food, as we never eat here other than dessert, but too be honest probably won’t ever eat a meal here.

We came here with a deal voucher. We ordered a duck stirfry and curry, both were really delicious. The decor makes you feel you are in Thailand. The service was good, although not sure what it would be like when iti s busy, as there were only 4 tables full when we went. Dishes are beautifully presented and quite big! I would like to try the red duck curry next time. And would recommend everyone to try this place.

This little place is pretty good, I really love Indonesian style food, especially their satay as it tastes quite different to the Malay style satay.

Awesome service, offered a green tea while I waited for my takeaway lunch. Delicious meal, really enjoyed it. Will definately return.

Authentic setting with friendly staff. Had dinner 1st time here and although I was disappointed with my sizzling beef (more like stew) hubby enjoyed his duck. However went for lunch yesterday and stuck to my usual choice of prawns and it was just delightful. I love the fresh coconut in the dish, something really different and the kaffir lime leaves make it soooo fragrant. A highlight for me was how it was presented. In a long dish with the most beautifully crafted carrot that I asked to take home with me. You guys are so talented I am in awe. I have enough trouble cutting them into straight strips :) Hubby true to form, had the duck of which he enjoyed again. Thank you.

Worst Restaurant! Very long waiting time for food to be served. They should put in their menu the time for preparation of each food so that customers will not be expecting too much and probably end up ordering drinks only. You should work out on your food preparation to make it faster if possible get another chef to cover your demand. Don’t be fooled by comments in their site as the owner (guy) said he is the administrator of the site so no one can put negative comments..what a shame…co’z I’ve put mine and then it’s gone the next day… it’s unfair and very unprofessional. Instead of doing something to fix the problem and make your restaurant more appealing from comments whether good or bad…. you are deleting them… you are not only fooling customers but most of all you are fooling yourself.

Ta-ke are seemingly under new ownership and are not the authentic little Japanese restaurant they once were. The food was absolutely terrible, without any exaggeration what-so-ever. I have never been served such an offensive meal at a restaurant. With consideration to the quality of the food, it was extremely overpriced. The service was slightly better than the food, but with food this awful i could have been served by Mt Eden Prison’s most fearsome inmate with my opinion unchanged. I felt awful afterwards. Disgusted. Get your act together Ta-ke.

Great food.. Terrible service. Went there for Mother’s Day Lunch and unarguably experienced the worst customer service ever. It’s a shame because I’ve been here a couple of times before and has always had a pleasant experience. We received a warm welcome when we entered the restaurant and it just went down hill from there. It took over 30 minutes to receive our meal. The extra Sushi’s that I ordered NEVER arrived, the Miso Soup came AFTER the meal and our WATER came after the meal also.. Their excuse was that they had no clean glasses for our water and the Chef was pre occupied therefore couldn’t make my sushi. I spoke with the young man who was ready to take our payments, according to him.. they were under staffed and no manager was present on Mothers Day. I really liked this place and it’s a shame that this has happened. Food was still great but this experience has made it very difficult for me and my family to consider going back here ever again.

I’ve been to this place twice, disappointing experience both times. Foods weren’t fresh, got given left over hard sushi instead of sashimi in dinner box. Hot foods were very very oily, a few pieces of meat and not much vegs neither. Tempura was very oily, too. I would not go back to this place even if it’s free.

Grabbed some takeaways from here the other night, Huge portions, super tasty food, I agree, would be good to have more seats to dine in, but it’s perfect for a local takeout. Will be back!

First visit tonight and it was very good. One of the only restaurants to understand the concept of customer service and the way to treat guests. Food was very nice and overall it was good value for money meal. Will be going back very soon. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been here twice using the Groupon voucher and had a great meal. I ordered calbi beef, which is rib eye so the meat was nice and tender. Very well marinated. And at least 7-8 small dishes of Korean dishes which are refillable. At least 1-4 dishes are non spicy and 3-4 are spicy. I cannot disagree more with the review below that also used voucher for the meal. They normally have 2 long strips of meat which is a standard amongst other restaurants. Plus the refillable sides makes the meal quite filling. The soup they provided has heavier taste, but you’re suppose to eat it with rice which makes it very tasty. I will be going back even without the voucher.

Awesome food! always big servings and so much to choose from. I can recommend the Ma Po Tofu My friend looked all over for Peking Duck and found it here and really enjoyed it. Its one of those restaurants which has food you feel like eating ‘a lot’!! you always feel like this Hong Kong Chinese food

We have been regulars at the Pine House for over a year now, each time we come away feeling very happy and well fed. I can really recommend the Kimchi fried rice, its awesome and also the Kimchi pancake and the little condiment side dishes are always great. The service is always attentive and fast, a really nice place for a chilled out quiet lunch. Its quite basic inside but great food and value for money.

This place is great!! I recently took a group of friends out to brunch at Stone Oven. The owners sure were smart to start a cafe here, the sun shines right inside. We visited on a Saturday so it was quite busy but the cafe has so much seating available (inside, along the footpath and outdoor deck area) that we found a table for four easily. The coffees were hot and delicious, and a friend commented that theirs was the best soy coffee they’d ever had. We had the pancakes (huge!), bacon eggs benedict, the mussels of the day (with gluten free toast) and the beef and bacon burger. All were top notch! I was also impressed with the staff. All were smiling but efficient, must be what makes this cafe so popular! Will definitely be coming back to Stone Oven.

They have the worst attitude towards their customers that I have ever seen in my life! 0/5 for customer service! All we wanted was to have our left over food packed to take home and the man in the kitchen would not pack rice that was already paid for to go with the food. He complained about having to put rice in a separate container! To be honest what is a couple of cents worth of takeaway containers if it means making your customer happy? If your customer is happy they will come back tell their friends and spend much more money the next time they come. This man was so adamant that he would not give us rice and a container that when he finally decided to give it to us he said he hoped to never see us again! We never will come again! It makes me so angry to think a business owner would tell you to never come back. How do you expect to get more customers or build a good reputation as a place people want to go to? We left angry and extremely disappointed. Rice that was paid for to be taken home in a container is not an unreasonable request. The owners should consider how they treat their customers and learn what battles to fight as rice and a container is a small investment in potential word of mouth advertising as well as loyal customers coming back. Price 3/5. The food was over priced already and we had to pay extra to have rice with a meal that would obviously need rice. Why not add the price to the main and include the rice? You probably get one small bowl worth of food that any hungry man would need at least 3 or more meals to get full. The price was about $23 for a small portion. 2/5 food My pad Thai had Toma toe sauce. That’s all I have to say. It was Thai spaghetti. Weird and only ate it because I was starving.
