Was dragged here by a work group against my will, but gave it a shot in good faith. Service format is a bit casual for some, but fair enough given the pricing ( which is reasonable ) menu would have been cutting edge in 1987, but not very interesting now. I went for the fish and chips, which were very greasy when they arrived and over salted. Did not finish my meal, however given the majority of our table were happy I’ll give them three stars.

It does cost more but worth it. My son had the salmon and frankly found it bland but I had the steak and was really impressed. Nice staff but sometimes a bit slow. Lovely interior.

The service was ok but we got our entree then two minutes later got our mains ??? this is not what i would expected. I felt rushed and that my costume was not wanted.

I love this place. Have taken my parents here too, and every time they come to palmy they love visiting the place even took my uncle from South Africa and he thought it was great also. The servings are massive for the price and the potatoes are lovely. It is always a busy place, so no wonder you know its good. I would recommend to dine in and get the pork, love the crackling!

Absolutely love this place, can never fault their Roast meats (have a few options to choose from) and potatoes, great servings; however hardly any apple/gravy is given; each time we go back we say extra apple/gravy please but has never made any difference. But this doesnt stop us going back =)

Been back twice for dinner (second one was with a GrabOne voucher and a second chance), unfortunately fail to impressed even for the second time. My aged Angus steak was way overcooked and dry, however my other dining guest had the other steak on the menu and this was cooked perfectly. However they were happy to rectify this disappointment with dessert which one can not fault was absolutely devine and highly recommended! The other disadvantage was we are not allowed to take our leftovers with us (Doggie bag) due to their Health & Safety, they said this is the norm but have dined at a few places and never had any issues before.
