What a fantastic venue, a stunning menu with something for everyone , [exceptional value for money too] fabulous staff and sensational service. I loved the friendly way I was greeted – nothing was too much. We were graciously seated by the Manager, a very warm and welcoming host. For me it is always a toss up [Yip! I am a repeat customer] between the Eggs Benedict and the Kidney Saute’ – and as always, cooked to perfection. The cabinet food simply delightful. There is something for everyone. I love the way you have embraced your community, wrapping yourself around the needs of the locals. Once a closed up building with a story, you have brought it back to life. A garden centre, a cafe, a venue, easy to find, easy to get to and tons of parking. From the art on the walls to the local school cookbook sold as a fundraiser – there is more than just food and beverage for sale. You have brought new jobs and past customers into a rural community. You make it a priority to know your customers and make us all feel so welcomed in what is undoubtedly a friendly, relaxing place to be. Thanks!!!

A group of 7 ladies went on a Wed night for the quiz and dinner. Two of us had the Irish Stew – the meat was soooo tough with white fat (Cold) and the gravy was jelly like and only warm. We told the waitress as did not eat hardly any of it and she said would tell kitchen staff. We did not even receive an apology so that is the last time we will go there.

We stopped here on Friday 11 May to purchase fish and chips as a takeaway. Attracted by the sandwich board advertising we decided to add half a dozen fried Bluff oysters @ $2.00 each to our order (of snapper, chips and mussels). At home we found that the oysters were most likely Pacific oysters given their small size (less than size of a $2.00 coin without the batter) and the lack of the distinctive Bluff oyster taste. A pity as the rest of the order was very good. Felt cheated – yes; recommend to others – no; go back again – no…

Great assortment of food on the menu, however that is as far as it went. Staff were inexperienced & very unprofessional, we hadn’t made a booking as we were told we could come in, when we got there, all the staff were walking around like chickens with their heads chopped off, the manager (a woman) told us we couldn’t dine in unless we chose something from the cabinet. Another staff member, informed us that they had a busy morning & the chef was stressing. Never got to try the food or coffee, certainly won’t be going back. I had been recommended by a friend who had visited the cafe twice themselves.

The best Thai Food in South Auckland. Great location, easy for parking Great Pad Thai and Green Curry just the right temperature. The food came out very fast and was nice and hot. Friendly service and a great price. We will be back!!
