Food was awesome, couldn’t fault it. The staff really went out of there way to make the evening special. Nice to see a local resturant with a ” A” food rateing.
Will defenitly be back for more.

Had the same experience tonight, $46 for 2 of the worst pizzas I’ve ever tasted, they seemed to forget the tomato base, very bland. I used to love the food at this place back in the day … but sadly I’ll never return

It’s gone downhill because the owner passed away about 7 years ago….that was when it was packed out every night and customers would stay till late. Meals were the best in the West (actually got an award for best West Auckland restaurant). Pizzas were magic and so was service. It was passed on to a family member once the owner/chef died…then the restaurant was ‘made over’ but it stole everything special about the place, was no longer welcoming and cosy. Meal prices went up and quality went down. So that is the reason why it’s nothing like it used to be…real sad.

This place deserves 5 star. The food is amazing, if you love Italian food than you will love this place. The salmon pasta & seafood risotto is highly recommended. The prices are reasonable and service is fantastic.
