Had an awesome garlic steak cooked perfectly (complements to the chef!), meal was the best. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful! The decor was very warm and inviting. Salad dressing reminded me of my grandmother’s, brought a smile to my face! Would definitely come again when we are in Wanganui!!

I have always enjoyed my visits to the Springvale Cafe. The staff are frendly, the coffee good, the food delicious and the setting within the garden centre is fantastic. We def. like the childrens play area! We also like to avoid public holidays, as the place can be too packed for us.

Like Annette I am surprised at the earlier reviews… maybe some teething problems? I am a regular at Mudducks and love their food, coffee and atmosphere. I have found the service friendly and haven’t been disappointed with the experience.

Wow we eat at this Restaurant several times a week and are really suprised to read the 2 former reviews We cant rave enough about this cafe. Food and Coffee fantastic, staff helpful and friendly, atmosphere great (how privileged we are to sit and look out over a beautiful river) this gets AAA+ rating from us

What a beautiful cafe in heart of Victoria ave Home made food just a best food in town i wound say…. Coffee was great with best Batista in ave award as well..

My favorite Indian restaurant in town. Staff are presentable and friendly. The restaurant is clean and tidy. The food is delicious (especially the butter chicken!) and portions are great. Very good value for money.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Wanganui. I have never had a bad meal here. I don’t normally eat out unless I’m staying somewhere out of town as I hate to waste my money on food I can make better at home which is why Angora is the only place I like to wine and dine. The food is fantastic and cooked to perfection. The prices are fair as well. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing (unless you’re seated by the toilets apparently) This is where I like to take my relatives from overseas for a nice meal as I know I wont be disappointed. P.S – try the lemon cheesecake (YUM!)

Went to the Yellowhouse cafe today for the first time and bought a regular flat white for $4. I could tell that the milk used was ‘recycled’ and therefore had a unpleasant burnt flavor. I have heard good things about their food before so I might go back to try it out some other time… I definitely won’t be wasting my money on the coffee there again.
