I and 5 friends went to Orbit few months ago and everyone was impressed. The food and the atmosphere were fantastic. Their waiters and waitresses were also well trained to look after customers.
I have tried many Malaysian foods in Auckland and Sri Mahkota must be one of the best. I and my friends order chicken curry with peanuts on rice, steamed soya chicken on rice, oat prawns, etc, all of them are very tasty.
I went to this place with other 3 friends. The restaurant is decorated in traditional Thai style that can be generally found in Thailand, but not in New Zealand. The garden is beautiful. However, we do not give credit for the food we had. Overall is fine though.
I and my friends went to this place at a very late night for Sake and light meals. The environment was good, but the large table was not well designed (the space between seats and table was too broad).
I and my friends went to this restaurant for dinner few weeks ago and we were so pleased with their foods and services. Our group decided to order Banquet Set (number 1?). We were told that Banquet sets are always recommended for a dining group,
since everyone will get meals at the same time and it is valued for the money. We all had mixed starters first and followed by soups, and mains. The food was very tasty and nicely decorated. Their food portions were also large. The flaming chicken was astonishing and delicious! Their waiters/waitresses were very friendly and helpful. At the end, we were provided with wonderful desserts (as part of the Banquet). The restaurant owner told us that she gave us extra desert portion to ensure that everyone must be completely full. For us, it was enjoyable to have dinner at Thai Village Restaurant. I and my friends are planning to have dinner at this restaurant again!
