We had the pleasure of dining at the Regent last night with good friends. This place is simply amazing! Brent, Darren and their team made us feel so welcome.

We dined in the Club Lounge, and the service was attentive, professional yet relaxed. The wait staff have personality, know their jobs well, and anticipated our needs.

The meals were absolutely stunning. Our friends commented on the aged beef being the “best they had tasted in New Zealand”! The wine selection was ample, with many delighters. To be quite blunt, our friends were surprised Rotorua had a Restaurant of this calibre, due to their recent experiences.

Dinner was a “reward” for my partner and I, but the best thing was the 4 of us shared the best dining experience.

The duck was “melt in your mouth”, and the pannacotta heavenly. If you want to impress, I would recommend the team at the Regent.

What a change the new owners have made. We stopped in for lunch, and the greeting we received from the two young ladies was so welcoming. The service was efficent and friendly, lunch was delicious, and the coffee perfect. Would highly recommend this place. Good casual relaxing atmoshere, which suited us perfectly, as we had just finished gardening when we stopped in.

This place is absolutely brilliant! Yum Cha has finally hit Rotorua! The tasty little morsels of food have me constantly thinking about Yum Cha! The place has been open for two weeks, and I have been twice, and going again today for lunch. The food here is easily comparable to other favourite Yum Cha in Auckland. The building has just been completely refurbished, and the atmosphere is light and friendly. The staff are very welcoming, and happy to explain dishes, and educate. I am just so excited and happy that Rotorua now has it own good quality Yum Cha 7 days a week!
