Had a most lovely dining experience here last Sunday!! My partner and i were seated in the conservatory which had grape vines crawling across the ceiling making for a very lovely sunny seating and given menus quickly as well as our drink orders were taken. Coffee was lovely and came out quickly followed by the food not long afteread morer. I wasn’t very hungry so i settled with a toasted sandwich but my husband went for a huge breakfast with all sorts of goodies. Eggs were perfectly cooked, hollaindase was delectable and he said everything was fresh and yummy. Will most definitely be coming back for more show less

Worst brunch experience ever. After waiting forever to be served we made our orders and sat patiently waiting for our brunch. Our party of 3 all ordered the same meal with the only exception being that I had asked for an extra hash brown with my breakfast. While waiting for our meals all we could hear was the chef swearing and read moreyelling at the waitress and then two of the cooks screaming that they had no hash browns. We were expecting someone to come and tell us this and maybe give us an extra option but no-one came over so we sat and waited a little longer. Finally our food arrived and low and behold-there were no hash browns on our plates just a pile of instant mashed potato which tasted like we were eating a whole garlic. We did not receive any sort of apology for our meals being different to what we ordered and sub standard to say the least. The worst part of our dining experience was the chef screaming and yelling at the waitress (who was also yelling back) it was awkward and i wouldn't be surprised if some knives were pulled out in the kitchen that day. My friends and i will definitely not be returning to this restaurant. It was also full of flies. show less

Dined here with a group of 10 and were seated under the grape vines - very novel. The host was most informative with great knowledge of the history of the restaurant and very friendly. The waitstaff were friendly and polite too. The food was fantastic. The highlight of the meal for me was the Calamari, it was perfectly cookeread mored and lightly seasoned. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meals - all were great portion sizes and cooked to perfection. Each one of us had an entrée and a main, some even managed to find room for dessert which was equally as good. The kids had a chicken burger with curly fries and the burger had a real chicken breast in it (not like other restaurants that serve processed chicken). All in all a good time had by everyone and each and every one of us will definitely be back. show less
