Great service and would highly recommend! Menu is varied and chicken pad thai was the best pad thai I have ever had. We stopped in and had a meal after going to a movie and ever since we have frequented the restaurant on a regular basis even travelling from Brooklyn to pick up a takeaway. Was also very impressed with how little read moretime it took to produce our food. Khmer Satay Noodle House is up there with the best at an affordable price. show less

Went here for a late lunch with my partner and his mother. It was sort of a last minute decision and I wasn't really expecting too much... But it was fantastic!! The menu was really extensive and it took me ages to decide what I wanted because everything looked so good. My partners mother ordered the yellow chicken curry, myread more partner ordered the chicken sambal and I finally decided on the chicken soy noodles. The service was really prompt- we ordered and paid at the front counter and then sat down. Our food was with us within 10 minutes, it was GREAT! The serving sizes were really large and were definitely worth what we paid- between $12-15 per meal. The chicken sambal had exactly the right amount of spice and the curry was quite mild with a really lovely, thick sauce. My chicken noodles were great, lots of variety of veges and fried egg etc. Just the right amount of sauce. The only thing that lets this fantastic restaurant down is the fact that it is part of the reading cinema food court. Although it is very much a "restaurant" setting, the view of mcdonalds etc is a bit off putting. If this restaurant had an entirely new self standing location I think it would become a lot more popular and be able to compete with the more upmarket asian restaurants in town. Otherwise, would 100% recommend... maybe just not for an intimate date! show less
