Tasteless food! Ordered chicken takka misala and came out tasting like it was just coconut milk with food colouring, rang to complain and the comment back was "yea sorry bro maybe next time" never going to be a next time!

I went to Namastey for lunch with my daughter and the man who greeted us was friendly and polite. I was surprised to see in the pictures here (on this website) they have striped tablecloths, there weren't any on the tables when we went there. The food was okay, they could make the servings bigger and possibly add more meat tread moreo each serving, more than the 3 - 4 bite size pieces we each got. My daughter thought the Butter Chicken was okay. I ordered Chicken Jalfrezi which was on the bland side. However, the price was pretty decent. I'm planning to take my 8 yr old son for lunch there soon. He loves curries and I'm curious to to hear what he thinks. show less

Very very bad experience. Bought this deal voucher. Which says two curries, 2 naan, and 2 rice for $23. I have specifically asked if it includes Full sized curries before buying it. And yes it does. We went there to order our food for takeaway. And food came out like in 20 mins. It was 2 half curries with half rice in takeaway read morecontainers. I asked the person on counter it was full curry why are you giving us half. So now start excuses 1) we did not have big container haha what an excuse? second excuse 2) you did not book and voucher says booking essential. We did not book because we are ordering takeaway ok. And if we did not book you will penalise your customer & give them half curry very clever. The voucher was worth $23 and the special price for half curry + naan +half rice was $11.90 for dinner. So actually we were saving 80 cents by what was given to us. We refuse to take the food & went to talk to the deal site. Obviously the deal site was not very happy with the attitude of the restaurant. Due to being weekend the the deal site reps could not talk to the restaurant. The deals website assured us they will talk to reps on weekdays to follow this up. And credited half the money in to our account & ask us to use the voucher as it is at the stage as it is expiring in couple of days. We went back and other person was on counter we said we have talked to the deals website & they said full curries. Anyway they will talk to you. The person seems bit sensible and said we will do it for you. Now first person came out and said but they did not book. ok whatever? Now our curries came out. Warm & smell nice. But quality omg worse food we ever had. The paneer was ok. but naan was smallest naan in the world. Never had such a small naan,. The other kofta curry was tasteless with only 3 pakoras in it. Though their rice was ok in taste. Would never recommend this place to anybody. Bad customer service, bad excuses. bad food. :( worst experience in food industry ever. show less
